Ornate Victorian yellow gold fob seal set with monogrammed carnelian
Elaborate scrolled gold work forms the top of this magnificent fob seal. This was likely the prized accessory of a Victorian lady or gent, worn at the end of their watch chain. A vivid orange carnelian has been carved with the monogram HN within a frame. It tests as gold and does appear to be solid – though it might have some base metal inside to give it strengh. The condition is very clean and nice. It measures 30.4mm in height. The carnelian set terminal measures 20.4 x 17mm. The bail has an inner diameter of around 4.9mm. The outside of the bail has a width of 5.3mm. Pretty beaded finial to top. We believe it dates to the late Victorian era, circa 1900.
Fine Georgian foiled amethyst and gold locket back broochHere we have a splendid brooch of circa 1830, comprising foiled amethysts in cut down, closed back gold settings. The stones are all flat cut, with one round cut added as a replacement at a later date. They vary in colour from pale lavender to deep, dark purple. At the centre of the brooch is a vacant domed crystal compartment with a wonderful hinged aperture to verso. The original 'c' clip and pin are in fine working order, together with a later gold safety chain. The piece measures around 23.8mm in length and 18mm in width, with a thickness of approximately 8.1mm. Each stone measures around 4mm in its gold setting.

Vintage 9ct gold trilogy ring, circa 1974Very pretty antique style ring set with three paste stones to simulate diamond and garnets. The colourless centre stone is brilliant cut and has plenty of sparkle. The top of the ring measures 12.9mm across the finger, with a width of 5.9mm and a rise of around 3.4mm. The band goes down to 3.4mm at the back. The ring has been cast in 9ct pale yellow gold with quite an abstract look to the shoulders. It looks lovely stacked up with other rings!Size: M (UK) / 6 (US)

Vintage five stone garnet 9ct gold ringA beautiful five stone band in the Antique taste, presenting graduating blood red garnets in a gypsy style scrolled setting cast in yellow gold. This is a nice slim band, great for stacking with other rings. The top of the ring measures approximately 18.8mm across, and 4mm at widest where the centre stone sits. It rises by 3.4mm. Antique Victorian floral motif embossed 18ct gold bandWe hunted high and low to find the most beautiful embossed band and this is what we found...Struck in the brightest high carat yellow gold, an eternal floral pattern in high relief winds its way round this 6.2mm thick band. The carving is crisp and in lovely condition for its 130 years. It retains its original gilded patina, which is what makes the gold so buttery and glittering, even though the finish is rather matt, which we love. Flowers stood for love and romance; this was a wedding ring made to last an eternity, and would have been the prized possession of a Victorian lady. The ring has a slight D shape and rises by around 1.2mm, so really comfortable to wear.
